My name is O’Mara, I am the founder and creator of Protrctive Hairstyle Nation, a curl friendly hat and hair accessories online store.  I have spent over 20 years braiding and styling my own hair as well as others, and saw an opportunity to bring joy to the world of naturals one strand at a time.

Protective Hairstyle Nation was born to create a place of refuge for naturals like me who are in search of hairstyling inspiration, in need of hat and hair accessories that caters to dreads, kinky, or curly hair, and those of you who simply do not know what to do with their luscious locks.  No matter the length,thickness, or level of curls you’ve got, we work so that you can find ease through your daily routines.
